Poppy / Personal Agent Protocol / draft 0.1EDUCATIONAL SIMULATION · DESIGN DRAFT

Your agent can ask. You decide.

Cedar Finch Auto (fictional demo service) - simulated auto-insurance experience. Give your Personal Agent access to a sample account, review a fictional car-insurance proposal, then decide whether the sample policy changes.

All people, vehicles, policies, quotes, premiums and approval outcomes shown are fictional sample data. No live connection or real coverage change. Cedar Finch Auto is a fictional name used for this demo, not an identified underwriting carrier. This concept claims no actual Poppy integration, production capability or endorsement.

Personal Agent

Scripted conversation · You are Maya, a fictional policyholder

You · Maya

Can you check what it would cost to raise my auto liability coverage?

Personal Agent

Let’s explore that in the Cedar Finch Auto (fictional demo service) simulated auto-insurance experience. I’ll show you a sample proposal and ask you to approve the exact terms before changing the sample policy.

More than a conversational answer

A bare chatbot can explain coverage. A tool-enabled chatbot can act. This conversation illustrates the surrounding contract: identify the agent, grant scoped access, propose a change, then confirm or cancel it.

Conventions around the tool call

MCP clients can implement OAuth and approvals too. Poppy adds discovery, identity, session and operation conventions for this personal-agent journey. This is not a claim that MCP lacks authorization.

Fictional people, prices and insurance. Not insurance advice. Poppy draft 0.1 subset, not certified. No external assets or network requests. The separate, unchanged CLI uses local HTTP and in-memory state; this page does not execute it.
